New year, New growth

I be overflowin’ with gratitude for the incredible growth of my handmade, woman-owned small business over the last two years. We’ve hit a massive milestone: the month of January alone brought more visitors to the shop than the entire year of 2024!

The Evolution of My Handmade Shop

When I first set sail, this site was built primarily for t-shirts. Unlike shops that use Print-on-Demand (POD) services like Printify, I’ve always personally hand-pressed my shirts. However, the tides have shifted! While I still love a good tee, my heart, and my customers, have gravitated toward my more unique handmade items, including:

Custom Embroidered Patches

Handmade Garments & Slow Fashion

Artisan Resin Jewelry

The Reality of Running an Off-Grid Business

What many of ye landlubbers might not know is that this business is operation off-grid, often working from a cellphone charged by solar panels. The winter snow and cold have made it a bit of a struggle to run the generator lately, which slows down the sewing machines and resin curing. Despite the handicaps of winter off grid, I keep pushing forward to bring ye the best artisan accessories and handmade clothing.

Stay tuned for more unique patches and resin art coming to the shop soon!

Worked on a quick patch

I spent some time today on my phone using a virtual online emulatorfor inkscape, and I’ve finally mapped out this latest patch. It’s a custom piece for the crew—the word “Autism” forged in the fires of that legendary 80s metal style. Look at those sharp edges! It’s got more points than a pirate’s cutlass. The plan is to bring this beast to life using a heavy machine satin stitch. It’s going to be thick, bold, and durable enough to survive a kraken attack (or at least a very rowdy mosh pit).

I’m eager to weigh anchor and get to work! I want to fire up the generator and unleash the embroidery machine. I’m lookin’ forward to the hum of the machine and the smell of fresh thread. Stay tuned to see the finished bounty
